Bryan Miller, Director of Recreation Ministry

Bryan comes to First Presbyterian Church of Nashville following years of working in and around the realms of athletics and ministry. Bryan, his wife, Kara, and children, Elli and Gavin, are excited to continue to serve on the path God has laid out by serving and engaging the our church family and the Nashville community. 

Bryan grew up in the Chicago area playing soccer and working with youth sports camps. He got his degree in Sports Management and Public Relations from Taylor University in Indiana. At Taylor, Bryan played soccer and then later became the women’s soccer coach. Bryan spent a year abroad working with youth in Northern Ireland with Revival In Our Town, a ministry for youth in the city of Dundrum. Bryan returned to Chicago to coach, and he obtained his Masters of Leadership Studies from North Central College. He was the Youth Ministries Director at Four Corners Community Church in Illinois before moving to Nashville in 2015 to work at Belmont University in Student Affairs. 

Bryan is excited to positively impact our community for God’s glory through Oak Hill Day Camp and our recreation outreach!
