Theatre Camp 2018

Theatre Camp, a two-week camp, is for campers to learn songs and choreography. Campers will have the opportunity to audition for roles and perform in this year’s production as well as assist in technical aspects. Family and friends will be invited to come see the production.

Theatre Camp Director 2018:

Anighya H.D. Crocker

Anighya H.D. Crocker is currently attending the Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University, where he is majoring in Vocal Performance, with a minor in Piano. Anighya has performed in a variety of venues from Nashville’s Schermerhorn Symphony Center to Carnegie Hall. He has appeared in a variety of leading roles, such as Brach Weaver in Kurt Weill’s Down in the Valley, and has portayed countless characters in scenes programs such as Giulio Cesare from Handel’s Giulio Cesare, the Baron from Verdi’s La Traviata, and Dr. Falke from Strauss the Younger’s Die Fledermaus. Anighya was a featured Young Artist in le festival lyrique international de belle-ile en mer; western France’s largest Lyric Opera festival. He has been featured as the principal pianist for such classics as Oklahoma, Ragtime, and Music Man.  He has served as assistant director of choral activities at Willow Oak Center for Arts and Learning for three consecutive seasons, while also serving as accompanist and director of Willow Oak’s Children’s Choral. Currently, Anighya serves as the Minister of Music at Ebenezer Baptist Church, where he leads choral and orchestral activities.
