Arts & Crafts Counselor (age 18 or older)

The Arts & Crafts Counselor plans, facilitates, and supervises all creative, visual-art-related activities. The Arts & Crafts Counselor is responsible for maintaining the Arts & Crafts room and necessary supplies.

Music Counselor (age 16 or older)

The Music Counselor plans and facilitates all music-related activities including camp songs, novelty dances and energizers for all age groups during weekly sessions. The Music Counselor is responsible for maintaining all music supplies. This person also will be available to rotate as a Counselor among all camp groups, recreation facilities, or anywhere else needed.

Outdoor Skills Counselor (age 16 or older)

The Outdoor Skills Counselor plans, facilitates, and supervises environmental/outdoor education programs for campers. The Outdoor Skills Counselor is responsible for maintaining all necessary supplies.

Senior Counselor (age 18 or older)

A Senior Counselor provides leadership and guidance to a small group of campers (no more than 16 per group) and contributes to the general success of Oak Hill Day Camp.

Junior Counselor (age 16 or older)

A Junior Counselor assists in leadership and guidance to a small group of campers (no more than 16 per group) and contributes to the general success of Oak Hill Day Camp.

Rover (age 16 or older)

An ODHC Rover rotates as Counselor among all camper groups, recreation facilities, or anywhere else daily as needed.

Special Needs Counselor (age 18 or older)

A Special Needs Counselor provides one-on-one guidance for special needs campers and is available to rotate as Counselor among all camper groups, recreation facilities, or anywhere else daily as needed.

Head Lifeguard/Pool Director (age 21 or older) 

The Head Lifeguard/Pool Director will oversee the pool and bath house area, including all staff, campers, activities, equipment. The Head Lifeguard/Pool Director will provide a safe and nurturing environment for everyone. The person filling this role will be actively involved and have a positive attitude about all camp and pool-related activities.

Camp Lifeguard (age 16 or older)

The Camp Lifeguard will assist in the management of the pool facilities and equipment. This position will help to ensure a safe environment for campers and guests at the pool.
